The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Sunnyside Blue Devils (Tucson, AZ) and the visiting Yuma Criminals (Yuma, AZ), saw Sunnyside's baseball team gain a win over Yuma by a tally of 5-2.

The Blue Devils (9-2) will now prepare for their battle against Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ). The Lancers enter the non-league battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Salpointe Catholic held off Marana (Tucson, AZ), 9-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Criminals face the Gila Ridge Hawks (Yuma, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 17. Yuma will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Hawks enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to Southwest EC (El Centro, CA).
