Florida High School Baseball - Victory Christian Academy sneaks past Tarpon Springs

The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Victory Christian Academy Storm (Lakeland, FL) and the host Tarpon Springs Spongers (Tarpon Springs, FL), saw Victory Christian Academy's baseball team get by Tarpon Springs by a tally of 6-5.

The Storm (10-4) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Gibson (Lakeland, FL). The Braves enter the non-league battle with a 3-10 record. In their last battle, Lake Gibson was tipped by Frostproof (Frostproof, FL), 6-5, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Spongers face the Weeki Wachee Hornets (Weeki Wachee, FL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 17. Tarpon Springs will attempt to upgrade on its 7-6 season record. The Hornets enter the battle with a 7-6 record after their 3-1 league win over Pasco (Dade City, FL).
