North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Ashley Swansboro

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Ashley Screaming Eagle lacrosse squad scored a tight 10-8 win over the Swansboro Pirates.

The Screaming Eagle (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates enter the Mideastern contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Topsail nipped Croatan (Newport, NC), 12-10, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Pirates meet the Havelock Rams (Havelock, NC) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, March 19. Swansboro will attempt to better on its 2-3 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 18-1 league loss to New Bern (New Bern, NC).
