The Whitney Wildcats lacrosse squad scored 5 points and limited the host West Park Panthers to 4 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now own a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Folsom for a Sierra Foothill League challenge on Tuesday, March 18. Whitney will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 17-9 league loss to Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, West Park falls to 2-6 on the year. The Panthers travel to Woodcreek (Roseville, CA) to clash with the Timberwolves in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 17. The Timberwolves go into the challenge with a record of 5-1. Woodcreek won 8-6 in their recent league challenge against Christian Brothers (Sacramento, CA)
