The Cherokee Bluff Bears soccer squad scored 11 points and held the visiting Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes to 1 in the Bears league victory on Friday.

The Bears now hold a 4-5 record. They play next when they host East Forsyth for a non-league bout on Tuesday, March 18. Cherokee Bluff will play a Broncos squad coming off a 2-1 league loss to Eastside (Covington, GA). The Broncos record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, Monroe Area moves to 2-7 on the year. The Purple hurricanes host Apalachee (Winder, GA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 19. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Apalachee won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Alcovy (Covington, GA)
