Georgia High School Soccer - Commerce held off by Elbert County

The Elbert County Blue Devils edged the visiting Commerce Tigers soccer team by a tally of 3-2 in Friday's league game.
Next, the Blue Devils face the Athens Academy Spartans (Athens, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 8 game, on Tuesday, March 18. Elbert County will attempt to advance on its 6-2 season record. The Spartans enter the game with a 4-2 record after their 7-0 league win over Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA).
The Tigers (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Rabun County (Tiger, GA). The Wildcats enter the 1A D-I Region 8 game with a 1-6 record. In their last game, Rabun County held off Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA), 1-0, in a league game.
