The Lumpkin County Indians soccer squad scored 11 points and held the host Tallulah Falls Indians to 2 in the Indians non-league victory on Friday.
The Indians now possess a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Chestatee for a 3A Region 6 bout on Tuesday, March 18. Lumpkin County will play a War Eagles squad coming off a 7-0 league loss to Dawson County (Dawsonville, GA). The War Eagles record now stands at 2-6.
With the loss, Tallulah Falls moves to 5-2 on the year. The Indians host Lakeview Academy (Gainesville, GA) to play the Lions in a GIAA AAA/AAAA District 4 bout on Tuesday, March 18.
