The Christ Covenant Spartans baseball squad (Winterville, NC), was overwhelmed 21-6 in Friday's non-league contest with the visiting Pungo Christian Academy Raiders (Belhaven, NC)

With the triumph, Pungo Christian Academy moves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Lawrence Academy (Merry Hill, NC) to confront the Warriors in a contest on Monday, March 17. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 0-1. Lawrence Academy lost 8-4 in their recent non-league contest against Halifax Academy (Roanoke Rapids, NC)

The Spartans now possess a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Trinity Christian for a contest on Tuesday, March 25.
