The Broughton Capitals lacrosse squad scored 8 points and limited the visiting Holly Springs Golden Hawks to 1 in the Capitals non-league triumph on Friday.
The Capitals now own a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host East Chapel Hill for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 18. Broughton will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 10-3 non-league win over Cedar Ridge (Hillsborough, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Holly Springs falls to 1-3 on the year. The Golden hawks host Middle Creek (Apex, NC) to face the Mustangs in a outing on Monday, March 17. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 5-1. Middle Creek won 9-8 in their recent non-league outing against Apex Friendship (Apex, NC)
