In Friday's non-league match, the Berkeley Yellowjackets (Berkeley, CA) lacrosse team edged the visiting Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA), by a count of 7-6.
Next up, the Yellowjackets confront the Terra Linda Trojans (San Rafael, CA) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, March 18. Berkeley will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 2-3 record after their 18-3 league loss to Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA).
The Matadors (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Amador Valley (Pleasanton, CA). The Dons enter the East Bay match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Amador Valley was tipped by Archbishop Mitty (San Jose, CA), 9-7, in a non-league match.
