St. John Paul II Academy Eagles (Boca Raton, FL) backers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team top the visiting Columbus Explorers (Miami, FL), 18-8 in a non-league game.
With the victory, St. John Paul II Academy improves its record to 8-3 on the season. The Eagles host American Heritage (Plantation, FL) to play the Patriots in a non-league game on Tuesday, March 18. The Patriots come into the game with a record of 6-3. American Heritage won 15-3 in their recent non-league game against Cardinal Gibbons (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
The Explorers now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stoneman Douglas for a 2A D16 game on Monday, March 17. Columbus will play a Eagles team coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Cypress Bay (Weston, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 1-7.
