In Friday's non-league match, the St. Mary's Saints (Annapolis, MD) lacrosse team edged the host DeMatha Stags (Hyattsville, MD), by a count of 8-7.
Next up, the Saints confront the Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD) in a MIAA A - Red match, on Tuesday, April 15. St. Mary's will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record.
The Stags (1-2) will now prepare for their match against St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD). The Knights enter the Washington Catholic outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, St. Mary's Ryken nudged Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA), 12-11, in a non-league outing.
