In Friday's non-league test, the North Cross Raiders (Roanoke, VA) lacrosse team overwhelmed the host George Washington Patriots (Charleston, WV), by a count of 18-4.
Next up, the Raiders battle the Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, March 18. North Cross will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Cavaliers enter the test with a 2-0 record after their 10-9 non-league win over Midlothian (Midlothian, VA).
The Patriots (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV). The Patriots come into the WVSLA -DI West match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Wheeling Park notched a victory over St. Albans (St. Albans, WV), 10-0, in a non-league match.
