The Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) lacrosse nudged the host Menlo School Knights (Atherton, CA), 9-8 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Bears now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Hillsdale for a Peninsula- Bay outing on Tuesday, March 25.
With the loss, Menlo School falls to 0-4 on the year. The Knights host Bellarmine College Prep (San Jose, CA) to face the Bells in a WCAL outing on Wednesday, March 19. The Bells go into the outing with a record of 4-1. Bellarmine College Prep won 13-9 in their recent non-league outing against Justin-Siena (Napa, CA)
