In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Mount St. Joseph Gaels lacrosse squad scored a tight 8-7 triumph over the Westtown .
The Gaels (2-1) will now prepare for their contest against Georgetown Prep (North Bethesda, MD). The Little Hoyas enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Georgetown Prep was nipped by Loyola Blakefield (Towson, MD), 13-5, in a non-league contest.
Next, the meet the Perkiomen School Panthers (Pennsburg, PA) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, April 3. Westtown will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
