Fans at Friday's league battle between the Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA) and the visiting Cherokee Warriors (Canton, GA), saw Etowah's soccer squad knock off Cherokee by a count of 2-0.

The Eagles (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against North Paulding (Dallas, GA). The Wolfpack enter the 7A Area 5 battle with a 7-4 record. In their last battle, North Paulding tipped Cherokee (Canton, GA), 1-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Warriors confront the North Paulding Wolfpack (Dallas, GA) in a 7A Area 5 battle, on Tuesday, March 18. Cherokee will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Wolfpack enter the battle with a 6-4 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Augusta Prep Day (Augusta, GA).
