In Friday's non-league test, the Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) softball squad the visiting East Forsyth Eagles (Kernersville, NC), by a tally of 5-1.

Next, the Fighting Scots clash with the South Brunswick Cougars (Southport, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, March 17. Scotland will attempt to advance on its 5-1 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 6-0 record after their 4-0 league win over Laney (Wilmington, NC).

The Eagles (0-6) will now prepare for their test against Eastern Alamance (Mebane, NC). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 6-3 record. In their last test, Eastern Alamance held off West Johnston (Benson, NC), 5-0, in a non-league test.
