The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Mountain Ridge Sentinels (Herriman, UT) and the visiting Emery Spartans (Castle Dale, UT), observed Mountain Ridge's softball team prevail over Emery by a tally of 11-1.

The Sentinels (4-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Uintah (Vernal, UT). The Utes go into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Uintah was routed by South Sevier (Monroe, UT), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

The Spartans (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Salem Hills (Salem, UT). The Skyhawks go into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Salem Hills toppled Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT), 4-0, in a non-league challenge.
