The Fisher Gators softball team scored 18 runs and held the host New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs to 0 in the Gators non-league win on Friday.
The Gators now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy for a 3A District 9 battle on Tuesday, March 18. Fisher will confront a Tigers team coming off a 15-4 non-league win over East Jefferson (Metairie, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 6-2.
With the loss, New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy moves to 2-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host St. Mary's Academy (New Orleans, LA) to confront the Cougars in a non-league battle on Tuesday, March 18. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 5-2.
