The Harmony Grove Cardinals got by the visiting Poyen Indians softball squad by a count of 7-6 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals meet the Mayflower Eagles (Mayflower, AR) in a 3A Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, March 18. Harmony Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record.
The Indians (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cutter-Morning Star (Hot Springs National Park, AR). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Cutter-Morning Star held off Mineral Springs (Mineral Springs, AR), 11-1, in a non-league challenge.
