Arizona High School Softball - Verrado sneaks past Ironwood Ridge

The Verrado Vipers softball team scored 6 runs and held the host Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks to 5 in the Vipers non-league win on Friday.

The Vipers now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Yuma Catholic for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 15. Verrado will confront a Shamrocks team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ). The Shamrocks record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Ironwood Ridge moves to 7-4 on the season. The Nighthawks travel to Coconino (Flagstaff, AZ) to confront the Panthers in a non-league battle on Saturday, March 15. The Panthers come into the battle with a record of 5-4. Coconino lost 6-0 in their recent non-league battle against Yuma Catholic (Yuma, AZ)
