Next, the Timberwolves play the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A challenge, on Tuesday, March 18. Montgomery Central will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Black Knights enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 10-4 non-league win over Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC).

The Jets (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Bartlett Yancey (Yanceyville, NC). The Buccaneers enter the Mid-Carolina 1A/2A challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Bartlett Yancey was routed by Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC), 17-0, in a league challenge.
