The Indians (9-4) will now prepare for their bout against Gonzales (Gonzales, TX). The Apaches go into the non-league bout with a 4-8 record. In their last bout, Gonzales was routed by John F. Kennedy (San Antonio, TX), 2-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Leopards battle the Hempstead Bobcats (Hempstead, TX) in a 3A Region III District 24 bout, on Tuesday, March 18. Van Vleck will attempt to advance on its 7-3 season record. The Bobcats go into the test with a 2-3 record after their 17-2 non-league loss to Rudder (Bryan, TX).
