Texas High School Baseball - Georgetown defeats Lehman

The Georgetown Eagles baseball team scored 12 runs and held the host Lehman Lobos to 5 in the Eagles non-league win on Saturday.
The Eagles now hold a 17-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East View for a 5A Region III District 23 outing on Tuesday, March 17. Georgetown will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 6-1 non-league win over Bastrop (Bastrop, TX). The Patriots record now stands at 8-8.
The Lobos (4-14) will now prepare for their outing against Cedar Park (Cedar Park, TX). The Timberwolves come into the 5A Region IV District 25 outing with a 7-10 record. In their last test, Cedar Park was overwhelmed by Hays (Buda, TX), 7-5, in a league test.
