California High School Baseball - Silverado holds off Polytechnic

The Silverado Hawks baseball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Polytechnic Panthers to 1 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Saturday.

Next up, the Hawks battle the Redlands East Valley Wildcats (Redlands, CA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, March 19. Silverado will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record.

The Panthers (3-6) will now prepare for their outing against Rio Hondo Prep (Arcadia, CA). The Kares come into the Prep outing with a 2-2 record. In their last outing, Rio Hondo Prep tipped Orange Glen (Escondido, CA), 10-1, in a non-league test.
