North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Providence Day overwhelms Laney

In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Providence Day Chargers lacrosse squad scored a tight 16-10 victory over the Laney Buccaneers.
With the victory, Providence Day advances its record to 5-2 on the season. The Chargers travel to Cape Fear Academy (Wilmington, NC) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league game on Monday, March 16. The Hurricanes come into the game with a record of 3-1. Cape Fear Academy lost 13-5 in their recent non-league game against Cary Academy (Cary, NC)
The Buccaneers now sport a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Brunswick for a Conference 4 game on Tuesday, March 17. Laney will play a Trojans team coming off a 11-5 non-league loss to Swansboro (Swansboro, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-3.
