With the triumph, Concord improves its record to 2-5 on the year. The Pirates host Viola (Viola, AR) to face the Longhorns in a 1A Region 2 contest on Monday, March 16. The Longhorns enter the contest with a record of 1-1.
The Cougars now hold a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Mammoth Spring for a 2A Region 2 match on Monday, March 16. Izard County will battle a Bears team coming off a 19-0 non-league loss to Norfork (Norfork, AR). The Bears record now stands at 0-1.
