Utah High School Baseball - Alta nips Hillcrest

Alta Hawks (Sandy, UT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Hillcrest Huskies (Midvale, UT), 6-5 in a non-league test.

With the win, Alta upgrades its record to 1-3 on the season. The Hawks host Cyprus (Magna, UT) to battle the Pirates in a non-league test on Thursday, March 17. The Pirates come into the test with a record of 0-3. Cyprus lost 18-3 in their recent non-league test against Fremont (Plain City, UT)

With the defeat, Hillcrest falls to 2-2 on the season. The Huskies travel to West Jordan (West Jordan, UT) to battle the Jaguars in a non-league test on Friday, March 18. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 1-2. West Jordan lost 6-3 in their recent non-league test against Kearns (Kearns, UT)
