California High School Volleyball - St. John Bosco can't hold off Valley Christian

In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Valley Christian Defenders volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the St. John Bosco Braves.
The Defenders (10-1) will now prepare for their battle against Calvary Chapel (Downey, CA). The Grizzlies come into the non-league battle with a 2-5 record.
Next, the Braves clash with the Mater Dei Monarchs (Santa Ana, CA) in a Trinity battle, on Wednesday, March 16. St. John Bosco will attempt to advance on its 10-7 season record. The Monarchs come into the battle with a 10-3 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA).
