Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they observed their lacrosse team top the visiting El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), 17-4 in a league match.

With the win, Esperanza upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Aztecs travel to Foothill (Santa Ana, CA) to play the Knights in a Crestview match on Tuesday, March 22. The Knights go into the match with a record of 4-0.

With the defeat, El Modena drops to 2-7 on the season. The Vanguards travel to Valencia (Placentia, CA) to play the Tigers in a non-league match on Friday, March 18. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 3-6. Valencia lost 11-4 in their recent non-league match against Poly (Riverside, CA)
