The Loyola Cubs walloped the visiting St. Francis Golden Knights lacrosse team by a final score of 16-8 in Tuesday's league match.
With the win, Loyola betters its record to 6-3 on the season. The Cubs host St. Ignatius (San Francisco, CA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league match on Friday, March 18. The Wildcats go into the match with a record of 5-0. St. Ignatius won 12-10 in their recent league match against Sacred Heart Prep (Atherton, CA)
With the defeat, St. Francis drops to 2-5 on the season. The Golden knights travel to Harvard-Westlake (Studio City, CA) to play the Wolverines in a Mission match on Saturday, March 19. The Wolverines go into the match with a record of 6-1. Harvard-Westlake won 5-4 in their recent league match against Crespi (Encino, CA)
