In Tuesday's league battle, the host Villa Rica Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 3-2 win over the Lithia Springs Lions.
The Wildcats (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Midtown (Atlanta, GA). The Knights go into the AAAAA Region 6 battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Midtown was nudged by Chapel Hill (Douglasville, GA), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Lions (1-8) will now prepare for their battle against North Springs (Atlanta, GA). The Spartans go into the AAAAA Region 6 battle with a 5-6 record. In their last battle, North Springs nipped New Manchester (Douglasville, GA), 10-0, in a league battle.
