Campo Verde Coyotes (Gilbert, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Coyotes now own a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Empire for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 17. Campo Verde will battle a Ravens squad coming off a 6-4 league loss to Sabino (Tucson, AZ). The Ravens record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Mesquite falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Saguaro (Scottsdale, AZ) to battle the Sabercats in a 4A Desert Sky challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Sabercats enter the challenge with a record of 0-4.
