Crystal Lake South Gators (Crystal Lake, IL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Grayslake Central Rams (Grayslake, IL), 13-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Gators now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wauconda for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 17.
With the loss, Grayslake Central falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rams host Lake Forest (Lake Forest, IL) to battle the Scouts in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 16. The Scouts enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
