The Marist Spartans (Eugene, OR) softball routed the visiting Hidden Valley Mustangs (Grants Pass, OR), 11-1 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their bout against Cascade (Turner, OR). The Cougars go into the non-league bout with a 0-0 record.
The Mustangs now possess a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Eagle Point for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 17.
