In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Los Lunas Tigers (Los Lunas, NM) softball team held off the visiting Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM), by a margin of 12-11.
With the triumph, Los Lunas moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Tigers travel to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM) to play the Cavemen in a non-league contest on Friday, March 18. The Cavemen come into the contest with a record of 6-0. Carlsbad won 3-2 in their recent non-league contest against Artesia (Artesia, NM)
In their next game, the Jaguars play the Bloomfield Bobcats (Bloomfield, NM) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 18. Valencia will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Bobcats come into the contest with a 0-5 record after their 12-4 non-league loss to Vista Grande (Casa Grande, AZ).
