The Boyd Broncos softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Richardson Eagles to 8 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Boyd moves its record to 3-17 on the year. The Broncos travel to Little Elm (Little Elm, TX) to play the Lobos in a 6A Region I District 5 game on Friday, March 18. The Lobos come into the game with a record of 3-7. Little Elm lost 12-7 in their recent league game against Allen (Allen, TX)
In their next game, the Eagles play the Nimitz Vikings (Irving, TX) in a 6A Region I District 7 game, on Friday, April 1. Richardson will attempt to move on its 4-9 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 5-3 record after their 15-2 league win over Irving (Irving, TX).
