The Central Bears (Brooksville, FL) baseball nipped the visiting River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL), 4-3 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bears play the Nature Coast Tech Sharks (Brooksville, FL) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, March 21. Central will attempt to better on its 5-5 season record. The Sharks enter the contest with a 4-4 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Bishop McLaughlin Catholic (Spring Hill, FL).

The Royal Knights now sport a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Fivay for a 5A District 8 contest on Tuesday, March 21. River Ridge will play a Falcons squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Lecanto (Lecanto, FL). The Falcons record now stands at 2-7.
