The Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Lamar Silver Foxes to 1 in the Swampcats non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Swampcats (2-0) will now prepare for their match against Lamar (Lamar, SC). The Silver Foxes go into the non-league match with a 1-9 record.
The Silver Foxes (1-8) will now prepare for their match against Latta (Latta, SC). The Vikings go into the 1A Region 6 match with a 3-2 record. In their last match, Latta was overwhelmed by Cheraw (Cheraw, SC), 5-3, in a non-league match.
