Langtree Charter Lions (Mooresville, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Piedmont Community Charter Patriots (Gastonia, NC), 12-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Langtree Charter upgrades its record to 2-4 on the season. The Lions host Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC) to battle the Pride in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A test on Thursday, March 16. The Pride come into the test with a record of 0-4. Pine Lake Prep lost 5-1 in their recent non-league test against Central Academy (Monroe, NC)

With the defeat, Piedmont Community Charter falls to 2-4 on the season. The Patriots host Highland Tech (Gastonia, NC) to battle the Rams in a non-league test on Thursday, March 16. The Rams come into the test with a record of 4-3. Highland Tech won 11-1 in their recent league test against Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC)
