The Mount Vernon Tigers (Mount Vernon, TX) baseball trounced the host Lone Oak Buffaloes (Lone Oak, TX), 16-7 in Wednesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Tigers encounter the Chapel Hill Red Devils (Mount Pleasant, TX) in a 3A Region II District 13 contest, on Tuesday, March 21.
