California High School Baseball - Ukiah holds off Piner

March 15, 2023: Santa Rosa, CA 95403

Ukiah Wildcats (Ukiah, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA), 7-3 in a non-league test.

With the win, Ukiah upgrades its record to 3-0 on the season. The Wildcats host Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA) to battle the Dons in a non-league test on Saturday, March 18. The Dons come into the test with a record of 2-4. Arroyo lost 10-5 in their recent non-league test against Washington (Fremont, CA)

With the defeat, Piner falls to 2-5 on the season. The Prospectors host Montgomery (Santa Rosa, CA) to battle the Vikings in a North Bay - Redwood test on Friday, March 17. The Vikings come into the test with a record of 3-3. Montgomery won 6-0 in their recent league test against Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, CA)
