In Wednesday's non-league outing, the East Catholic Eagles (Manchester, CT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT), by a count of 74-45.
The Eagles (23-2) will now prepare for their outing against Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT). The Lions go into the non-league outing with a 21-2 record. In their last outing, Northwest Catholic smashed Notre Dame (West Haven, CT), 73-61, in a non-league match.
With the defeat, Ridgefield moves to 20-4 on the year.
