The Shepaug Valley Spartans (Washington, CT) basketball nipped the host Lyman Memorial Bulldogs (Lebanon, CT), 50-45 in Wednesday's non-league test.
The Spartans (18-7) will now prepare for their test against Windsor Locks (Windsor Locks, CT). The Raiders go into the non-league test with a 21-4 record. In their last test, Windsor Locks got by Portland (Portland, CT), 67-56, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 17-9 record.
