The Waterbury Career Academy Spartans topped the host Platt Panthers basketball team by a final score of 84-71 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Bloomfield Warhawks (Bloomfield, CT) in a non-league game, on Sunday, March 19. Waterbury Career Academy will attempt to move on its 22-3 season record. The Warhawks enter the game with a 21-2 record after their 78-59 non-league win over New London (New London, CT).
With the defeat, Platt moves to 18-5 on the year.
