In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Montrose Meteors basketball team scored a tight 49-47 triumph over the Marian Catholic .

In their next game, the Meteors meet the Faith Christian Academy Lions (Sellersville, PA) in a non-league match, on Friday, March 17. Montrose will attempt to move on its 16-2 season record. The Lions enter the match with a 23-6 record after their 35-28 non-league win over South Williamsport (South Williamsport, PA).

With the defeat, Marian Catholic falls to 25-3 on the campaign.
