The Bear River Bears lacrosse team scored 18 points and held the visiting Fremont Silverwolves to 3 in the Bears non-league win on Wednesday.

The Bears (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Corner Canyon (Draper, UT). The Chargers go into the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Corner Canyon was overwhelmed by Olympus (Salt Lake City, UT), 18-4, in a non-league game.

The Silverwolves (0-2) will now prepare for their game against Layton (Layton, UT). The Lancers go into the 6A Region 1 game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Layton was overwhelmed by Clearfield (Clearfield, UT), 17-2, in a league game.
