North Carolina High School Baseball - South Point sneaks past East Gaston

Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) and the visiting East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC), saw South Point's baseball squad edge East Gaston by a count of 6-5.

Coming up next, the Red Raiders play the Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 16. South Point will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Jaguars enter the battle with a 1-4 record after their 9-8 non-league win over South Point (Belmont, NC).

The Warriors now possess a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Hopewell for a non-league battle on Friday, March 17. East Gaston will play a Titans squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Porter Ridge (Indian Trail, NC). The Titans record now stands at 1-4.
