The St. Stephens Indians crushed the visiting Newton-Conover Red Devils baseball team by a count of 16-7 in Wednesday's non-league bout.

The Indians now possess a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Iredell for a bout on Thursday, March 16. St. Stephens will face a Raiders team coming off a 11-0 league win over Foard (Newton, NC). The Raiders record now stands at 2-1.

Next, the Red Devils face the West Lincoln Rebels (Lincolnton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, March 16. Newton-Conover will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Rebels enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC).
