The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Middle Creek Mustangs (Apex, NC) and the visiting Heritage Huskies (Wake Forest, NC), saw Middle Creek's lacrosse team top Heritage by a margin of 19-7.

The Mustangs (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Apex (Apex, NC). The Cougars enter the Southwest Wake challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Apex was overwhelmed by Broughton (Raleigh, NC), 12-8, in a non-league challenge.

The Huskies (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Hunt (Wilson, NC). The Warriors enter the Northern Athletic challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Hunt was overwhelmed by Wakefield (Raleigh, NC), 11-2, in a league challenge.
